Hotels, boarding houses and large apartment buildings accommodate very large numbers of people. If the need for high-quality drinking water is to be met here, the PURION 2500 90W is the right choice. This system is not only suitable for homes of self-suppliers, but also offers customers of municipal water supplies an additional safeguard to offer germ-free drinking water to their guests and tenants. The special UV-C disinfection process dissolves the DNA bonds of bacteria and viruses, causing them to die. The taste and odor remain unchanged. Compared to other processes, nothing is added to the water, nor are important minerals removed. Due to its special design, the PURION 2500 90W is extremely low-maintenance and can be maintained completely without tools, so that it is also possible to change the lamp during operation. For hotels and guesthouses, the PURION 2500 90W is the right system: reliable, high-quality, low-maintenance and power-saving.
Due to a wide voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other types of plugs with an adapter (not included).
This system is a flow-through system. It requires a low, permanent water flow, because the UV-C lamp heats the water so much that the life of the UV-C lamp can be affected.
The UV-C lamp has a natural decline in performance over its lifetime. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime meter and the lifetime monitoring (OTC) will signal the right time. The hours that the lamp is on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. Thus, the right time to change the lamp is not missed.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The used stainless steel 1.4571 is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. In compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate, the required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² is achieved with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm. This UV-C system thus achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, which is required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW certificate, so in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.
In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another spare lamp, the matching mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
