The PURION 2500 36W Dual system disinfects drinking water specifically using the physical process of UV-C disinfection. In this process, bacteria and viruses are specifically killed, no additives are added to the water, nor are important ingredients such as minerals removed, and the water remains completely neutral in taste and odor. The PURION 2500 36W Dual is based on two PURION 2500 36W units connected in series. Due to the longer retention time of the water, the maximum output of this system is doubled to 5,000 l/h. This is sufficient to supply a multi-family house with water. This is sufficient to supply an apartment building with up to 20 people with freshly disinfected drinking water. Compared to this output, the energy costs are extremely low, and due to the long lamp life, the low replacement lamp costs are even less important. In large households, the flawless and correct disinfection of drinking water is very important, the PURION 2500 36W Dual does the job for you.
Thanks to a wide voltage ballast, this unit is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can thus be used in many different countries. The plant is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used with an adapter (not included) for other types of plugs.
The UV-C lamp has a natural power loss over its lifetime. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime meter and the lifetime monitoring (OTC) will signal the right time. The hours that the lamp is on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. Thus, the right time to change the lamp is not missed.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The used stainless steel 1.4571 is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. In compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate, the required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² is achieved with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm. This UV-C system thus achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, which is required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW certificate, so in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.
In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another spare lamp, the matching mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
