With a PURION 1000 PVC-U the health -promoting advantages of a salt water pool can be fully enjoyed. Salt water is very gentle on the skin, it protects the skin from drying out and is very beneficial for the eye mucous membranes. Therefore, cleaning with chlorine is absolutely not appropriate for this special form of the pool. The advantages that arise from salt water are lifted again by the disadvantages that cleaning with chlorine. The procedure of UV-C cleaning with the PURION 1000 P is a lot better here. UV-C light dissolves the DNA compounds of algae and bacteria, so that they are considered dead. With the PURION The UV-C cleaning process for a pool can be used up to 10m³. The composition of the water - unlike when using chlorine - is not changed in any way. Especially in the case of a product that is as valuable as a salt water pool, it is therefore absolutely necessary to clean the pool with a health -compatible manner.
This system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V by a long-voltage operating operating device and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a euro plug and can also be used for other types of plugs with an adapter (not included).
The UV-C lamp has a natural drop in performance over the duration of its lifetime. We guarantee that the lamp has reached the promised flow output after 10,000 hours. After this time, the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime knife and the service life monitoring (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. A green LED shines up to 9,000 hours, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre -alarm is displayed with a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. So the right time is not missed to change the lamp.
This system is suitable for salt water due to the PVC reactor. Since the weld seams of stainless steel are attacked by the salt, there is no alternative to PVC for the salt water area.
In order to keep a pool permanently free from algae, the correct coordination between the pump and UV-C system is necessary. It applies that at least three times the pool content flows through the UV-C system during the day. The maximum flow power of 3m³/h should not be exceeded, because this leads to the water no longer being disinfected correctly. In certain cases, it is necessary to run the system longer: This is urgently required, for example, after larger rain or if the water was in the pool over the winter.
With an unfavorable starting point with a lot of algae, it can be an advantage to use a biological flocide agent to support the UV-C system.
In addition to the system, this bundle includes another replacement lamp, the right assembly tile and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
