The guests of a hotel complex want to find a pool in perfect condition. To achieve this, a large number of chemicals such as chlorine, flocculants, pH boosters and pH reducers are often added to the pool water. An alternative method to this chemical mace is cleaning using the physical process of UV-C disinfection. In this process, the DNA of algae and bacteria is specifically dissolved so that they die. With the help of the PURION 2501 Dualwhich is based on the concept of PURION 2501, this process can be used perfectly for pools up to 100m³. Pool users no longer swim in chemicals, but in naturally clear and clean water. Unpleasant effects such as the famous red eyes or itchy skin can thus be avoided. And the guests of the hotel complex are guaranteed to be happy to return. The PURION 2501 Dual is not only worthwhile for the guests, but also for the owner. Chemicals are very expensive in the long term, but the running costs for a UV-C disinfection system are manageable. For perfect bathing fun, there is therefore nothing better from an economic and ecological point of view than cleaning the pool with a UV-C disinfection system PURION 2501 Dual.
Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can therefore be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other plug types with an adapter (not included).
The UV-C lamp has a natural power drop over the course of its service life. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time, the lamp must be replaced; the lamp life meter and the service life monitor (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are shown on an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. This ensures that the right time to change the bulb is not missed.
To keep a pool permanently free of algae, the pump and UV-C system must be correctly coordinated. At least three times the pool volume should flow through the UV-C system during the day. The maximum flow rate of 20m³/h should not be exceeded, as this would result in the water no longer being disinfected correctly. In certain cases, it is necessary to run the system for longer: This is urgently required after heavy rainfall, for example, or if the water has been standing in the pool over the winter.
In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another replacement lamp, the appropriate mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
