Health aspects are usually decisive for the decision to set up a salt water pool. Salt water is beneficial for the skin, it is gentle and protects the body from drying out. It is precisely because of these positive effects that it is crucial that the cleaning of the pool is cleaned in a healthy way. Cleaning with chlorine is absolutely not recommended here, since the positive properties of the salt water are almost completely canceled by the chlorine and other chemicals. With the PURION In 2001 P the procedure of the UV-C disinfection is used: algae are targeted with UV-C light, whereby the DNA compounds dissolve and the algae die. This gentle type of water cleaning does not change the water in taste, smell or the composition. With the PURION 2001 P can be applied to a salt water pool with 30m³. For a health-promoting salt water pool, there is no more compatible cleaning than that through UV-C-cleaning that is environmentally friendly and attractive from an economic perspective.
This system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V by a long-voltage operating operating device and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a euro plug and can also be used for other types of plugs with an adapter (not included).
The UV-C lamp has a natural drop in performance over the duration of its lifetime. We guarantee that the lamp has reached the promised flow output after 10,000 hours. After this time, the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime knife and the service life monitoring (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. A green LED shines up to 9,000 hours, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre -alarm is displayed with a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. So the right time is not missed to change the lamp.
This system is suitable for salt water due to the PVC reactor. Since the weld seams of stainless steel are attacked by the salt, there is no alternative to PVC for the salt water area.
In order to keep a pool permanently free from algae, the correct coordination between the pump and UV-C system is necessary. It applies that at least three times the pool content flows through the UV-C system during the day. The max. Flow power of 8m³/h should not be exceeded, because this means that the water is no longer correctly disinfected. In certain cases, it is necessary to run the system longer: This is urgently required, for example, after larger rain or if the water was in the pool over the winter.
With an unfavorable starting point with a lot of algae, it can be an advantage to use a biological flocide agent to support the UV-C system.
In addition to the system, this bundle includes another replacement lamp, the right assembly tile and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
