The Tropenboxes impress with their maximum compactness. In the sturdy aluminum box, which is also used on expeditions, the 10W UV lamp of a PURION 500 up to 400 L/h. The water supply can be regulated by the integrated 18W pump (active) or an external, existing pump (passive). If there is no stable power supply at the installation site, the system can be operated via a solar panel. The integrated 12V 17AH storage battery ensures operation for 20 hours. The robust plug-and-play system is suitable for self-sufficient drinking water supply in remote areas without a central power supply, in disaster relief operations, on expeditions, scientific research trips or in food trucks.
