Holiday homes, small alpine huts, or garden sheds can be easily and safely supplied with clean drinking water. The small size, low power consumption, and long runtime of 10,000 operating hours make the system attractive for mobile use in expeditions, market wagons, or food trucks. Compared to other variants of standalone water disinfection, the UV-C disinfection process works purely physically, with the UV-C dose rendering microorganisms and viruses harmless. Chemically acting agents such as silver ions or chlorine are thus a thing of the past. Optionally, the PURION 400 can be ordered with lifetime monitoring and various power supply options.
