With a total capacity of 8,000 l/h, the PURION 2500 90W Dual is an extremely large UV-C disinfection system that is mainly used in hotels and large apartment buildings. Technically, this system is based on two normal PURION 2500 90W, which are connected in series. This doubles the dwell time of the water in the system and therefore more water can be disinfected. The UV-C disinfection process specifically dissolves the DNA compounds of bacteria and viruses, which means that they are considered to have been killed. The taste and smell remain unchanged and the composition of the water is retained. With this low-maintenance and reliable UV-C disinfection system, the lamps can be easily changed during operation. Such a change is rare, as the lamps have a very long service life. The PURION 2500 90W Dual gives customers and tenants the certainty of drinking clean and germ-free water.
Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can therefore be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other plug types with an adapter (not included).
This system is a flow-through system. It requires a low, permanent water flow, as the UV-C lamp heats the water to such an extent that the service life of the UV-C lamp can be impaired.
The UV-C lamp has a natural drop in output over the course of its service life. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time, the lamp must be replaced; the lamp life meter and the service life monitor (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are shown on an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. This ensures that the right time to change the bulb is not missed.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The stainless steel 1.4571 used is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. The required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm is achieved in compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate. This UV-C system therefore achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, as required by law. For trademark reasons, this system does not have a DVGW-Therefore, in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.
In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another replacement lamp, the appropriate mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
