Ein Überblick über die verschiedenen Überwachungsstufen und ihre Besonderheiten
Basic

Basic

The UV-C lamps from PURION have a natural drop in output over the course of their service life. We guarantee that the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate after 10,000 hours. After this time, the lamp must be replaced in order to guarantee the disinfection performance. The Basic version has no measurement of the lamp service life and no sensor monitoring, so you have to measure the running time yourself, check the lamp at regular intervals and check the reactor for possible contamination.

Plus

Plus (OTC)

The UV-C lamp has a natural drop in output over the course of its service life. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time, the lamp must be replaced; the lamp life meter and the service life monitor (OTC) signal the correct time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are shown on an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. This ensures that the right time to change the bulb is not missed.

Extra

Extra (OPD)

Sensor monitoring is integrated in this system for safe monitoring of the UV-C lamp. The UV-C output of the lamp is permanently measured via a sensor in the middle of the stainless steel reactor and shown on an LED display. If the UV-C lamp has more than 70% of the starting intensity, a green LED lights up, between 50 and 70% a yellow LED lights up as a pre-alarm and below 50% a red LED lights up. If the display is red, there is no longer enough UV-C intensity to guarantee the promised flow rate. This may be due to a natural drop in output of the UV-C lamp or to contamination inside the reactor, for example.

Ultra

Ultra (ESM)

The UV-C output of the lamp is measured directly via the sensor monitoring of this system. The sensor is located in the middle of the stainless steel housing and always measures the current UV-C output, which is shown on an LED display. At a rate of more than 70% of the starting intensity, a green LED lights up, between 50 and 70% a yellow LED appears as a pre-alarm and below 50% a red LED lights up. If the red LED lights up, this means that the promised flow rate can no longer be guaranteed. This may be due to the natural drop in performance of the system or contamination within the system. As soon as the red LED lights up, the additionally installed solenoid valve is automatically closed so that there is no danger to the user. This solenoid valve is de-energized and therefore closes fully automatically even in the event of a power failure.
