Las Tropenbox se caracterizan por su máxima compacidad. En la robusta caja de aluminio, que también se utiliza en expediciones, la lámpara UV de 10W de un PURION 500 hasta 400 litros por hora. El suministro de agua puede regularse mediante la bomba integrada de 18W (active) o una bomba externa ya existente (pasiva). Si no se dispone de una fuente de alimentación estable en el lugar de instalación, el sistema puede funcionar mediante un panel solar. El acumulador integrado de 12V 17AH garantiza un funcionamiento de 20 horas. El robusto sistema plug-and-play es adecuado para el suministro autosuficiente de agua potable en zonas remotas sin una fuente de alimentación central, en operaciones de socorro en caso de catástrofe, en expediciones, viajes de investigación científica o en food trucks.
