The PURION 2500 36W Dual system disinfects drinking water using the physical process of UV-C disinfection. Bacteria and viruses are killed in a targeted manner, no additives are added to the water and no important ingredients such as minerals are removed, and it remains completely neutral in taste and odor. The PURION 2500 36W Dual is based on two systems of the type PURION 2500 36W, which have been connected in series. Due to the longer retention time of the water, the maximum output of this system doubles to 5,000 l/h. This is sufficient to supply an apartment building with up to 20 people with freshly disinfected drinking water. Compared to this output, the energy costs are extremely low and the low replacement lamp costs are even less significant due to the long lamp service life. In large households, the flawless and correct disinfection of drinking water is very important, the PURION 2500 36W Dual does this job for you.
Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can therefore be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other plug types with an adapter (not included).
The UV-C lamp has a natural power drop over the course of its service life. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time, the lamp must be replaced; the lamp life meter and the service life monitor (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are shown on an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. This ensures that the right time to change the bulb is not missed.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The stainless steel 1.4571 used is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. The required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm is achieved in compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate. This UV-C system therefore achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, as required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW-Therefore, in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.
In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another replacement lamp, the appropriate mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
