PURION 500 OTC Bundle

When it comes to the desire to lead a largely self-sufficient life, the question of drinking water supply takes center stage. In order to be able to enjoy water from wells, lakes, rivers or cisterns, it must first be treated accordingly. Drinking water treatment is a complex field in which a suitable treatment chain must be put together depending on the condition of the source water. Bacteria, germs and viruses pose the greatest risk to health. The PURION 500 is the perfect combination of an energy-saving device and a very good disinfection system that gives pathogens no chance. Thanks to its short length of 32 cm, this system can be integrated very easily into the smallest water circuits. In terms of dimensions, the PURION 500 is ideal for use in small vacation homes and larger mobile homes. For a self-sufficient life without worrying about drinking water quality, the PURION 500 is the safest solution.

Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can therefore be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other plug types with an adapter (not included).

The UV-C lamp has a natural power drop over the course of its service life. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time, the lamp must be replaced; the lamp life meter and the service life monitor (OTC) signal the right time. The hours in which the lamp is switched on are counted and the values are shown on an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. This ensures that the right time to change the bulb is not missed.

This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The stainless steel 1.4571 used is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. The required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm is achieved in compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate. This UV-C system therefore achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, as required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW-Therefore, in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.

In addition to the system, this bundle also includes another replacement lamp, the appropriate mounting frame and a service kit for intensive cleaning.
