In two reactors installed in series made of electropolished 1.4571 stainless steel, two lamps with a power of 90W each disinfect up to 8m³/h of water or other liquids. The purely physical method of UV-C disinfection is reliable, energy-efficient, and does not alter, for example, the taste or smell of drinking water. The system size is suitable for drinking water treatment for hotels and multi-family houses.

A lamp replacement is usually carried out after 10,000 operating hours. This can be done, as well as cleaning, during ongoing operation and without special tools. The PURION 2500 90W DUAL is available with lifetime monitoring, sensor monitoring, and in the Ultra version with a solenoid valve that only releases the water output at the specified UV-C power. With a wide voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264 V and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is factory-equipped with a Euro plug but can also be used with other plug types without any problems with an adapter (not included).

This system is a flow-through system. It requires a low, permanent water flow because the UV-C lamp heats the water so much that the lifespan of the UV-C lamp could be affected if cooling is not ensured due to a minimal flow. The system is generally low-maintenance, keeping operating costs low.
