Beschreibung

The starter package of the PURION 1000 can certainly be understood as the ideal all-round system. The combination of HEPA and activated carbon filters with a UV-C disinfection system is effective and reliable. As a starter package, it is particularly suitable for water conditions that are difficult to define and in which none of the properties, such as a very high lime or iron content, particularly stand out. The UV-C disinfection process specifically dissolves the DNA compounds of bacteria and viruses, causing them to die. Using the two pre-filters, particles up to a size of 60 microns as well as carbon-based chemicals and acetones are also successfully filtered out of the water. With a complete flow rate of 1,000 l/h, the PURION 1000 Starter is ideal for supplying a single-family home or a vacation cabin with drinking water. In doing so, the system not only protects your health, but also saves time and money due to low maintenance, energy and replacement lamp costs.

Due to a wide voltage ballast, this plant is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other types of plugs with an adapter (not included).

The UV-C lamp has a natural power loss over its lifetime. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime meter and the lifetime monitoring (OTC) will signal the right time. The hours that the lamp is on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. Thus, the right time to change the lamp is not missed.

This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The used stainless steel 1.4571 is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. In compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate, the required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² is achieved with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm. This UV-C system thus achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, which is required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW certificate, so in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.

FAQ

Häufig gestellte Fragen

At what point does the UV-C system have to be installed in the drinking water cycle?

A UV-C disinfection system is always the last link in a water treatment chain, since the path to the withdrawal point should be kept as low as possible. Water filters in particular offer ideal conditions for settlement by bacteria. The freshly disinfected water would therefore germinate again if it would continue through the drinking water cycle after going through the UV-C system. Printing boilers should always be installed in front of the UV-C systems.

Why does the UV-C lamp have to be changed after 10,000 hours even though it still works?

Each UV-C lamp has a technical drop in the UV-C performance. The manufacturer guarantees that the system will reach 60% UV-C output after 10,000 hours. The specified data on the systems always refer to this 60% performance. However, the drop in performance continues to increase from a term of 10,000 hours. Therefore, the lamp still works, but there is no longer enough UV-C output for an optimal disinfection result.

When do I need a life of life?

A service life monitoring is recommended for all users who do not permanently let the system switch on. A change of the lamp is recommended every 10,000 hours, since the manufacturer also does not guarantee the performance, i.e. the amount of UV-C radiation dose required for safe disinfection.

Can this system overheat?

If there is no water withdrawal when the lamps are operated, the water inside the system heats up. With the 10W, 17W and 36W systems, this effect is negligible because the water temperature does not increase above 40 ° C. However, if the water is heated more than 40 ° C, as is possible when the 48W and 90W variant is operated, the lifespan of the lamp can be negatively influenced. In these systems, it is therefore recommended to ensure a steady water flow.

Does the system automatically switch on the water flow?

The UV system should be permanently switched on for various technical reasons:
1.) The UV system needs about 1 minute to achieve full performance.
2.) When igniting the lamp, as much energy is required as for operation over two hours.
3.) Each on and off cycle is at the expense of the service life.

How do I know which UV-C system is the right one for me?

It is not important to the average water consumption per day, but what maximum acceptance quantities can occur. Therefore, the correct drinking water system is determined by the existing withdrawal stations and the number of people in the house. A tap has fully turned on an output of 300 to 500 liters per hour. If in doubt, the next stronger system should be used.

Do you recommend fuel germination?

No, we advise flow reactors, as the maximum distance between the water to disinfect and the UV-C lamp is precisely defined. A tank collision system can only ensure a complete disinfection if it has a previously calculated revolution. In addition, flow reactors are much more efficient.

What do I need a sensor for and to what extent does it differ from the life of life?

A UV-C sensor is used to measure the UV-C output released directly on the lamp. This ensures significantly higher security for the user, since a drop in performance is directly signaled. This can be too bad transmission or a natural drop in performance of the lamp due to the eore of the recommended maximum operating time of 10,000 hours.

Can I use these systems as drinking water systems?

If in doubt, this must be clarified with the health department. The operating certificate for the systems in the download area of the respective product pages of this online shop are available for this. We will also be happy to advise you personally on this topic. Alternatively, with the Purion DVGW Zert, we also offer a UV system certified both according to DVGW and Ö-Norm.

Which UV-C dose is used?

We use a UV-C dose of 400 J/m² for safe disinfection. This performance is sufficient to achieve a disinfection quota of 99.99% in compliance with the specified flow rate and transmission. Thus, water from a tank or container can be prepared precisely.
