The starter package of the PURION 1000 can certainly be understood as the ideal all-round system. The combination of HEPA and activated carbon filters with a UV-C disinfection system is effective and reliable. As a starter package, it is particularly suitable for water conditions that are difficult to define and in which none of the properties, such as a very high lime or iron content, particularly stand out. The UV-C disinfection process specifically dissolves the DNA compounds of bacteria and viruses, causing them to die. Using the two pre-filters, particles up to a size of 60 microns as well as carbon-based chemicals and acetones are also successfully filtered out of the water. With a complete flow rate of 1,000 l/h, the PURION 1000 Starter is ideal for supplying a single-family home or a vacation cabin with drinking water. In doing so, the system not only protects your health, but also saves time and money due to low maintenance, energy and replacement lamp costs.
Due to a wide voltage ballast, this plant is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used for other types of plugs with an adapter (not included).
The UV-C lamp has a natural power loss over its lifetime. We guarantee that after 10,000 hours the lamp will have reached exactly the promised flow rate. After this time the lamp must be changed, the lamp runtime meter and the lifetime monitoring (OTC) will signal the right time. The hours that the lamp is on are counted and the values are output via an LED display. Up to 9,000 hours a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours the pre-alarm is indicated by a yellow LED and after 10,000 hours a red LED lights up. Thus, the right time to change the lamp is not missed.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. The used stainless steel 1.4571 is also used in the food industry and therefore meets the standard. In compliance with the prescribed maximum flow rate, the required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² is achieved with a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm. This UV-C system thus achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, which is required by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW certificate, so in individual cases it must be clarified with the health authority whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.
