As a result, washing hands is usually useless, for example, when the smartphone is used again immediately. With the UVC BOX from PURION, these items can now be disinfected easily and quickly without much effort. By reducing the germ load, an effective contribution is made to not getting infected with diseases.

For the disinfection and decontamination of everyday items, the PURION UVC BOX SMALL series is optimally suited. The UV-C light reliably kills germs, viruses, and bacteria by dissolving the DNA connections of these microorganisms.

The PURION UVC BOX SMALL is characterized by its simple and uncomplicated handling. Low power consumption, long lamp life, and low-maintenance operation complete the high-quality UV-C system.

Whether in the office or at home, the PURION UVC BOX SMALL is a product "Made in Germany" and makes high-end laboratory technology accessible to everyone with its simple design and built-in UV-C technology.

Thanks to a wide voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 230V and equipped with a Euro plug, making it flexible to use.

This UV-C disinfection system from PURION consists of a steel housing made of cold-rolled SPCC steel with a lockable glass door. Inside, a 10 W PURION UV lamp is mounted for optimal disinfection effect. The control is located inside the housing.

This Plus version makes it easy to set the correct runtime, with the manufacturer recommending an irradiation duration of 10 minutes, during which the disinfection performance is 1,440 J/m². The UVC Box either runs continuously or automatically switches off after 10 minutes using the timer function. This ensures the optimal irradiation duration is not missed.

In this Bundle, an additional replacement lamp and a service kit for intensive cleaning are included in addition to the system.

The UV-C disinfection box is suitable for sterilizing devices and objects that are exposed to germ contamination during use. This includes cell phones, jewelry, office supplies, laptops, TV equipment, grooming items, medical supplies, coins, etc. UV-C light can only be effective where the radiation directly hits the medium to be disinfected. Hidden areas or those in the shadow of other objects are reached very poorly or not at all and thus are not fully disinfected. The UV-C boxes Extra and Ultra are therefore equipped with a UV-C lamp on the ceiling and the floor of the box. This allows for two-sided disinfection, and objects to be disinfected do not need to be turned.

The disinfection effect strongly depends on the irradiated material and the surface condition. Metal and glass are harmless regarding UV irradiation. However, long-term irradiation of plastics can lead to a change in the polymer structure, which can manifest as porosity or discoloration, for example. Our UV-C boxes operate with a dose of 1,200 J/m², calculated based on a runtime of 15 minutes.

No installation conditions need to be met. The system is equipped with a door contact switch, so the UV lamps are immediately turned off when the door is opened.

The UV-C emissions of the boxes are checked and are permissible according to the latest requirements. The viewing window of the box door is not permeable to UV-C light.

Our high-quality UV-C lamps are designed so that no wavelengths below 250nm are emitted. Therefore, no ozone is generated, and the UV-C boxes can be used without problems in rooms with public traffic or offices.

The UV lamps used in the UV-C boxes cannot overheat.

Every UV-C lamp has a technically induced performance drop in UV-C output. The manufacturer guarantees that the system still reaches 60% UV-C output after 10,000 hours. The specified data for the systems always refer to this 60% output. However, after 10,000 hours of operation, the performance drop continues to increase. Therefore, the lamp still works, but it no longer produces enough UV-C output for optimal disinfection results.
