PURION 500 OTC Bundle

When desiring to lead a largely self-sufficient life, the question of drinking water supply is central. To be able to enjoy water from wells, lakes, rivers, or cisterns, it must first be properly treated. Drinking water treatment is a complex field where, depending on the condition of the source water, an appropriate treatment chain must be assembled. The greatest threat to health is posed by bacteria, germs, and viruses. The PURION 500 represents the perfect combination of an energy-saving device and a very good disinfection system that leaves no chance for pathogens. Due to its small length of 32cm, this system can be easily integrated into the smallest water circuits. In terms of sizing, the PURION 500 is ideally suited for use in small holiday homes and larger motorhomes. For a self-sufficient life without concern for drinking water quality, the PURION 500 is the safest solution.

Thanks to a wide voltage pre-switch device, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264V and can thus be used in many different countries. The system is equipped with a Euro plug and can also be used with an adapter (not included) for other plug types.

The UV-C lamp has a natural performance decline over its lifetime. We guarantee that the lamp will have reached the promised flow performance after 10,000 hours. After this time, the lamp must be replaced, and the lamp runtime meter and lifetime monitoring (OTC) signal the right time. The hours the lamp is on are counted, and the values are displayed via an LED indicator. Up to 9,000 hours, a green LED lights up, between 9,000 and 10,000 hours, a pre-alarm with a yellow LED is displayed, and after 10,000 hours, a red LED lights up. Thus, the right time for lamp replacement is not missed.

This UV-C disinfection system from PURION meets all the technical requirements of the drinking water ordinance. The stainless steel 1.4571 used is also used in the food industry and thus meets the standard. By adhering to the prescribed maximum flow rate, the required UV-C dose of 400 J/m² at a UV-C transmission of 90% T1 cm is achieved. Thus, this UV-C system achieves a disinfection rate of 99.99%, as prescribed by law. For trademark protection reasons, this system does not have a DVGW certificate, so in individual cases, it must be clarified with the health department whether the UV-C disinfection system can be used.

In this Bundle, in addition to the system, an additional replacement lamp, the appropriate mounting frame, and a service kit for intensive cleaning are included.
