Description
The PURION IBC Tank Set 48W is used for flatter tanks up to 70 cm. It protects the tank from germination, for example, the formation of a biofilm. In particular, the air flowing in the tank is disinfected in the tank, which can be caused very quickly. This set is particularly in combination with flow systems of PURION It makes sense, since both the tank is protected from too strong germination and the water is prepared for drinking water quality when removing.

A UV-C disinfection system is always the last link in a water treatment chain, as the distance to the tapping point should be kept as short as possible. Water filters in particular offer ideal conditions for colonization by bacteria. The freshly disinfected water would therefore become contaminated again if it were to continue through the drinking water circuit after passing through the UV-C system. 3) Each switch-on and switch-off cycle is detrimental to the service life.
The correct dimensioning of the systems is not based on the maximum daily consumption but on the expected maximum peak rate and is therefore dependent on the performance of the pump.
It must be ensured that no power supply units with pulsed voltage are used, as this can cause irreparable damage to the system.
Yes, this is possible. However, the use of a battery is always recommended for igniting the lamp. In addition, a solar regulator should always be used.
No, we recommend using flow-through reactors, as this precisely defines the maximum distance between the water to be disinfected and the UV-C lamp. A tank disinfection system can only guarantee complete disinfection if it has a previously calculated circulation. In addition, flow reactors are significantly more efficient.
