Depending on the device configuration, a dose between 65 and 120J/m² is achieved. This enables a disinfection performance of 99.99% for all our systems. Based on our experience, this can achieve disinfection of the entire room air between 80% and 88%. We recommend 80% for storage, sports, and generally larger halls. We recommend 88% for rooms with public traffic, such as offices, classrooms, conference or practice rooms, etc. Please note any special requirements of the legislator. Our high-quality UV-C lamps are designed so that no wavelengths below 250nm are emitted. As a result, no ozone is produced, and the AIRPURION active systems can be used without problems in rooms with public traffic, offices, schools, conference rooms, etc.

Due to the constant air exchange, there is no overheating.

We generally recommend ceiling installation, as this directs the airflow upwards. With floor-standing units, untreated air may be directed horizontally through the room at a lower height. This can concentrate contamination in limited areas, which in the worst case can even increase the risk of infection.

The systems should be placed in the room so that they work with the room's convection. The room air rises where it is heated. This way, it distributes itself, for example, from a radiator, throughout the room. Ideally, this creates an even distribution in the room. The UV-C systems should not work against the convection. Please note that room dividers, tall cabinets, or similar can also influence the air circulation in the room. We would be happy to provide you with a recommendation on where the systems should ideally be placed in the room. For this, we need floor plans showing radiators, windows, and doors. Every UV-C lamp has a technically induced decrease in UV-C performance. The manufacturer guarantees that the system will still achieve 60% UV-C performance after 10,000 hours. The specified data for the systems always refer to this 60% performance. After 10,000 hours of operation, the performance decrease continues to increase. Therefore, the lamp still works, but it no longer produces enough UV-C performance for optimal disinfection results.
