Harmful chemicals are often used in an attempt to prevent this, but this is not only harmful to the environment but also very costly. These high-density liquids can be treated with the system PURION 500 Pro can be reliably disinfected using UV-C radiation. The liquid film thickness is only 2 mm, which means that the UV output does not suffer even with low UV transmission. Process water can be disinfected at 300 l/h, emulsions at 200 l/h. PURION 500 can be serviced without tools, both for cleaning and the installation of spare parts.
In this configuration, the Pro system has no monitoring, it only indicates when the lamp has failed. It should be noted that the lamp must be replaced after 10,000 hours. Within these 10,000 hours, the lamp always has an output of at least 60%. With this output, the promised disinfection performance can be maintained.
