Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 230V and is equipped with a Euro plug and can therefore be used flexibly.
This UV-C disinfection system from PURION consists of a steel housing made of cold-rolled SPCC steel with a lockable glass door. Inside is a 17 W PURION UV lamp for optimum disinfection. The control unit is located inside the housing.
This Plus version makes it easy to set the correct running time; the manufacturer recommends an irradiation time of 10 minutes with a disinfection output of 1,440 J/m². The UVC box either runs in continuous operation or switches off automatically after 10 minutes using the timer function. This ensures that the optimum irradiation time is not missed.
UVC light is highly effective against viruses, germs and bacteria, with lethal doses for some selected pathogens:
