In two reactors made of electropolished 1.4571 stainless steel installed in series, two emitters with an output of 90 W each disinfect up to 8 m³/h of water or other liquids. The purely physical process of UV-C disinfection is reliable, energy-efficient and does not change the taste or smell of drinking water, for example. The system size is suitable for drinking water treatment in hotels and apartment buildings.

The emitter is usually replaced after 10,000 operating hours. Like cleaning, this can be carried out during operation and without special tools. The PURION 2500 90W DUAL is available with service life monitoring, sensor monitoring and in the Ultra version with solenoid valve, which only releases the water at the specified UV-C output. Thanks to a wide-voltage ballast, this system is designed for a voltage range of 85-264 V and can therefore be used in many different countries. The system is factory-fitted with a Euro plug, but can also be used for other plug types without any problems using an adapter (not included).

This system is a flow-through system. It requires a low, permanent water flow, as the UV-C lamp heats the water to such an extent that the service life of the UV-C lamp could be impaired if cooling is not ensured due to a minimal flow rate. The system is generally low-maintenance, which keeps operating costs low.
