Packed in a high-quality aluminum frame, the compact system active from PURION is a complete water treatment chain. The system includes a particle pre-filter with a washable nylon filter cartridge to remove suspended particles. Additionally, an activated carbon filter is integrated to eliminate odors, improve taste, and absorb carbon-based chemicals such as acetone. The last component of the water treatment chain is the UV-C unit, which disinfects the water with a sterilization rate of 99.99% - this complies with the German drinking water regulation.

Furthermore, this system includes a 12V pump that is matched to the performance of the UV-C unit. Approximately 30 seconds after the UV-C unit is started, the pump switches on, ensuring that the UV-C lamp has enough lead time to reach full performance. The system also includes a lifespan monitoring feature that signals when the lamp needs to be replaced. 

The system can be operated via the 12V connection with a 12V power supply, cigarette lighter, or a photovoltaic panel. The entire system is housed in a robust aluminum frame and is already fully pre-assembled. Due to easy integration, the complete system can be changed using the supplied tools or even without tools.

The specified data for the systems always refer to this 60% performance. However, after 10,000 hours of operation, the performance decline continues to increase. Therefore, the lamp still works, but it no longer produces enough UV-C performance for optimal disinfection results.

Lifespan monitoring is recommended for all users who do not keep the system permanently switched on. A lamp replacement every 10,000 hours is recommended, as the manufacturer does not guarantee performance beyond that, meaning the amount of UV-C radiation dose necessary for safe disinfection.

The correct sizing of the systems is not based on the maximum daily consumption but on the expected maximum peak rate and is therefore dependent on the pump's performance.

It should be noted that no power supplies with pulsed voltage should be used, as this can cause irreparable damage to the system.

Yes, that is possible. However, it is always recommended to use a battery to ignite the lamp. Additionally, a solar controller should always be used.
