Depending on the device configuration, a dose of between 65 and 120J/m² is achieved. This enables a disinfection performance of 99.99% for all our systems. In our experience, disinfection of the entire room air of between 80% and 88% can be achieved. We recommend 80% for storage, sports and generally larger halls. We recommend 88% for rooms with public traffic, such as offices, classrooms, conference or practice rooms, etc. Please note any special legal requirements. The systems are designed and approved in accordance with the latest regulations. If required, our customer service can answer questions on the subject and provide the relevant certificates.

Our high-quality UV-C lamps are designed so that no wavelengths below 250nm are emitted. This means that no ozone is produced and the AIRPURION active systems can be used in rooms with public traffic, offices, schools, conference rooms etc. without any problems.

The constant air exchange prevents overheating.

We generally recommend ceiling installation, as this directs the air flow upwards. With floor-standing units, untreated air may be directed horizontally through the room at a low height. This can concentrate contamination in limited areas, which in the worst case even increases the risk of infection.

The units should be positioned in the room so that they work with the convection of the room. The room air rises where it is heated. In this way, it is distributed throughout the room, e.g. from a radiator. Ideally, this creates an even distribution in the room. The UV-C systems should not work against convection. Please note that room dividers, high cupboards or similar can also have an influence on the air circulation in the room. We will be happy to provide you with a recommendation as to where the systems should ideally be positioned in the room. To do this, we need floor plans showing radiators, windows and doors. Every UV-C lamp has a technical drop in UV-C output. The manufacturer guarantees that the system will still achieve 60% UV-C output after 10,000 hours. The data given for the systems always refers to this 60% output. However, from a running time of 10,000 hours, the drop in output continues to increase. This means that the lamp is still working, but there is no longer enough UV-C output for an optimum disinfection result.
